Different types of single buggies

A lightweight buggy is an ideal choice for parents who frequently travel using public transport or plan on going on vacation with their child. They are typically less than 6kg, and fold down compactly and can be carried into overhead compartments of flights. Lightweight buggies are also good for travelling around town as they're generally easy to manoeuvre. Many come with a sunshade and raincover that are worth the investment to keep your child happy on any outing!

A jogger buggy has large BMX wheels and is specifically designed for use in the gym. It has a sturdy suspension to absorb the bounces, bumps and other effects of off-road use. Buying a single buggy

A new baby buggy is an expensive purchase. Most pushchair packages that include bassinets for babies can cost upwards PS700. This is a significant amount for parents on a a limited budget.

The reality is that, absent an urban area that has public transport available or have a massive car boot and spend every weekend in muddy parks, the majority of families purchase two buggies. A sturdy, robust buggy that can be loaded, cope with rough terrain and potentially grow with the family, and a lighter travel buggy for holidays and restricted spaces, like on public transport or crowded streets.

We suggest buying one buggy that you love, and then selling it when your child is up and you need to upgrade to a double. You won't be stuck with a novelty that you don't want.

Double buggy: Buy one

When you are buying a double buggy, you will have plenty to think about, from the amount it will cost to what kind of recline positions the seats can offer. It is also important to consider whether you require an enormous shopping basket and what kind of suspension the buggy has. Consider the features you would like to see on your buggy, such as sunshades and rain covers.

There is a variety of double buggies available on the market and the right one for you will depend on the person who will be using it as well as your lifestyle and budgetary limitations.
