Her main disadvantage is that she lacks offensive buffs. However the damage mitigation buffs could make the difference between a build that has a high damage focus and one that does not have. Her Duo buff applies Weakness each time you hit an enemy which is especially useful in fights where you can't avoid being struck like Elysium and Styx.

Athena Like her cousin Zeus at times, can be overconfident and believe that she is more knowledgeable than anyone else. She isn't as close to Zeus as other Olympian gods and is usually in a negative view of her.

Athena like Hermes is able to provide fantastic god-buffs for oscarreys nearly any weapon. Her attack boosts however, aren't as effective and it's recommended to pick a god with higher attack multipliers. For instance, Poseidon or Athena. The shield special attack slows down movement speed of enemies, and oscarreys her Frost Flourish blessing can increase your attack speed and special attack damage. However it's not as effective as other Gods' versions. However, her blessings are extremely beneficial and should be accepted when available.
