World of Warcraft - item upgrader Upgrading

Upgrades to items allow players to increase the gear score of an item Upgrader mod up to 700 and also add an additional perk. Items can be upgraded by having them in inventory and heading to the kiln.

Certain items can be upgraded to increase their stats (like perfect broken point armour that is rolled for melee PvP) while other items, such as weapons don't change much post upgrade, so they aren't worth upgrading.

Weapons

Weapons can be upgraded to boost their numeric stats like the chance to crit, attack damage, PvE and damage from PvP. Weapons also come with a flat bonus which increases their damage per second. In addition, many weapons have a set bonus that activates when three or more of the same weapon are present on a single unit. In some instances, this bonus could add up to more than the amount of damage a weapon upgrades by itself.

The cost of upgrading a weapon is based on the rarity of the weapon and its current level. For example the weapon with a +2 rating will require two regular Smithing Stones to upgrade while a +3 requires four. The number of stones needed to upgrade the gun will increase until it requires more Smithing Stones. At that point it will reset to one.

Upgrades to weapons also alter the stats of the base. While this is generally beneficial, it can have some negative effects as well. Upgrades can make items unusable, unless you are extremely lucky.

It is possible to upgrade armor items to increase their stats. For instance, if you have chests or helms, this will increase its defense base while gloves and belts improve their required strength and dexterity. Armor has a rerolling option for its Enhanced Defense percent. This means that it is able to reduce its value.

The upgrade template of a weapon will display the new stats that it will gain when upgrading, as well as the relative value of those stats. This means that a change from a sword with 8 damage to an 11-attack-damage sword would result in the weapon gaining an attack damage of 3. However the 3% does not mean that it will be hit for 3 fewer times, since it is an absolute statistic.

Rerolling a weapon is also possible by pressing the green button on the item upgrader mod menu, using the arrows that circle. The item level upgrade will be rerolled and change its statistics, but not reset the weapon's levels or tie it to the account status.

Armor

A few upgrades to your armor can make a huge difference to your survivability. Certain sets can offer massive improvements in the resistance to curses, poison and fire as well as magic. This can make it easier to navigate difficult areas. In general, the greater defense you have for your character, the more health you can gain from each point. Therefore, it is recommended to upgrade your armor.

You can upgrade your armor by visiting any of the Great Fairy Fountains. There are four of them each of which requires you to complete a special side quest involving the Stable Trotters musical troupe. Once you've completed the primary side quest and mastered the fountain that corresponds you'll be able to speak to any Great Fairy to open up the armor upgrade menu.

Each piece of armor can be upgraded to three levels and the amount of material and Rupees needed for each level will differ. In general, you'll be looking at anything from three to ten Red Chuchu Jellies and ten Rupees for the initial upgrade, and anywhere between five Rubies and 10 Fire-Breath Horns for each subsequent one. For example, the Champion Leathers can be upgraded to +5 defense, which allows you to keep pace with a good-sized group of adversaries in most cold climates, and the Snowquill Headdress can be upgraded all the way to +20 defense, granting you enough protection to withstand an entire raid with a handful of friends.

It's important to note that armor cannot be upgraded in the same manner as weapons, so you'll need to focus on upgrading it for physical power if you're a Warrior or Spell Power if you're a Mage. You should also save your armor upgrades to upgrade the armor that you'll still be wearing by the end of the story, like the Ring of Lightning, Spectral Shield or the mask you wear in the final boss fight, the Monter Parts Merchant Mask.

You can also gain perks for your armor by presenting the jeweler in Gerudo Town 10 Twinkling Titanite. Generally, you'll want to save these upgrades for the weapon you'll be using to win the game, like the Longsword, Battleaxe or Warhammer, but it can be useful to have some improvements to the helmets and chest armor that permit you to sneak past some monsters.

Potions

Potions are bottled substances that, when consumed, give the player a temporary status effect. There are five different types of potions, each having specific effects and durations. Certain potions can be upgraded to improve their level of effectiveness. You can also enhance the effects of certain potions by including glowstone dust and redstone.

Potion upgrades cost a specific amount of XP. These can be earned by crafting them on a table or in an chest of the Alchemist. The upgrade price varies depending on the type of potion and the item upgrader's rarity as well as Mark Level.

To upgrade a potion, right-click it in your inventory. Then, select "Upgrade" from the menu. This opens an GUI where you can select the potions you want to upgrade and the amount of XP they'll produce when upgraded. Upgrades to potions can be made in batches of up to five at a time, and the XP they provide will be added to your current XP level.

Version 1.7.2 brought a few changes to the mechanism of potions. For example, splash potions now have an average duration of 0.08 seconds (this is not the same as 22.5 seconds displayed on the hover display of the item upgrader kit). The table for potion is constructed from four Wood Planks, and two Glass. It is now able to be utilized in both Survival and Bedrock. Unlike the Java Edition, Bedrock edition potions are not able to be combined in cauldrons. Also, putting a potion on a full cauldron drains the liquid and replenishes the bottle.

Finally, there are lingering potions that are brewed using splash and dragon breath potions. Redstone can also be added to lingering potions to extend their effect. The table of potions is organized more closely to the Java Edition, and new potions were added such as potion of leaping, decomposition potion, as well as turtle master potions.

Trinkets

A trinket is a small and cheap ornament or piece of jewelry. It could also be a small ornament or object that has a purpose but isn't important such as a trinket. In certain cultures, a trinket can be used to show affection or friendship between family members.

Trinkets can be upgraded by players in addition to weapons, armor, and potions. These can be upgraded by going to an upgrade vendor and paying the appropriate currency. Trinkets unlike other items that can be upgraded can be exchanged at any time without losing stats.

Upgrade vendors are located at the capitals of every zone, and sometimes in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets can be purchased with gold, tokens, or fragments from rare trinkets.

Upgrades are a cost-effective alternative to purchasing a new trinket. It can be done by the player for just 12 tokens. The new trinket will have the same base ilvl as old one, and will have an additional upgrade bonus of 1.

When the old Trinkets are not usable, they can be upgraded. This allows a player to increase their power and value with time. They can be traded between players which makes them a good alternative to gold.

In general players should make upgrades to their most important items first. This usually refers to the most valuable-in-slot items for their class, followed by their secondaries, and finally other pieces of gear that they will not be replacing in the near future (for example, a ring or cloak). When choosing which items to upgrade, players should also consider the preferred statistics of their class. If Haste and Crit are two of the most important stats to tank players then they should consider upgrading their chest, helm, and shoulders.

Trinkets can be upgraded to a higher ilvl after they no longer have value and the new trinket will receive an additional upgrade bonus of 1. A re-upgrade, however, can cause damage to the trinket unless it is salvaged with a Black Lion Salvage Kit, or a higher tier salvage tool. Upgrades to trinkets can be more expensive than other upgrades but still less expensive than buying new ones.
