The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you're seeking a robot vacuum and mop that's middle-of-the-road. It offers a great mopping experience, but doesn't have the features that make up its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to tackle dust and dry oats on medium-pile carpet and pet hair on hard flooring. However, unlike other models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to map out your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It has a lot of features and impressive cleaning power, such as a dirt compartment that is built into the charging base. The robot also learns your habits of cleaning and suggest schedules that are automatic to ensure you have a hands-free experience.

The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once the system is in place it can begin cleaning automatically with just one button click. You can choose the general clean option that focuses on the removal of larger debris such as cereal and rice. Or you can choose two mappings to ensure that your home is completely cleaned.

This robot vac performs well on both floors that are bare and carpet with a low pile. It sucks up large items and does not lose suction as fast as some other models and can pick up pet hair without much difficulty. It's a challenge with plush or high-pile carpets however iRobot claims that future models will be more efficient.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that is focused on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which will allow it to be able to swaddle furniture and walls. It's a nice improvement over the standard hockey puck shape of most robovacs, though we found it to be only incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ has an advanced filtering system that stops tiny dust particles and allergens from circulating within your home. It's a nice claim, but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to store the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map your interior of your home. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles, like stairs and other barriers and to tidy up your entire house in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, and establish virtual boundary markers, so that it can recognize areas that need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vac settings are as effective as those on higher-end models and its mopping feature is better still--its spinning pads do a better job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibration pad.

It's only downside is the absence of a second brush for more thorough cleaning. However, it's not a problem for those who want to own one of the best robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank is also larger than many of its competitors, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it, even with the maximum dirt level.

In terms of the mopping device, I was amazed with its ability to scrub hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. The two lowest mopping settings, which are less powerful than high-powered settings, produce little noise, so you can work or even watch TV without being distracted. It will gently hit a wall or furniture and move on when it encounters one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and can automatically transfer trash into a hidden bin. It also cleans and dries the clean water tank. The app is good at notifying you when something requires attention, like the water tank being empty or a scheduled vacuuming session that was cancelled due to a full dust bin.

You can also design and merge actual rooms to customize how the Q Revo manages your home. This feature is helpful if you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or when you have to frequently get rid of clutter like toys, clothes, and books. The robo-vac was also one of the top performers in my test, picking up debris on carpets as well as hardwood floors on the first go. It can even clean up spills that are wet however I would recommend wiping them dry using a clean cloth before bringing the best robot vacuum and mop combo robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo with all the features you can need. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum with a powerful suction that cleans carpet and hard floors, as well as a rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also has a self-cleaning base station that automatically empty and cleans the mop pads, keeping them free of germs and ready to use again. It also has a sensor system that recognizes obstacles better which allows it to avoid falling on furniture or other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS X1 Deebot is its modern, sleeker design. This is thanks to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best robot vacuum mop combo known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still large--it measures over two feet in the height and depth and weighs almost four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot j7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it has a faster charging speed for batteries and can complete a cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also comes with a larger and more durable dustbin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that is functional even if you are not at home. It also has an intelligent routing feature that allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your home, instead of following a predetermined route.

The X2 Omni is the best robot at mopping. Its mop pads rotating clean tough stains and its motor creates lots of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is also top-notch, and it boosts suction when it detects carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It comes with a huge, rechargeable battery that can last up to a week. The mopping mode of the robot is also powerful.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality mop and vacuum robot that comes with a range of convenience features that you don't often see on robots that vacuum and mop of this price range. It is able to create precise floor maps and recognize different types of flooring. It's also one of the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are nice however they can place the L10s in the class of luxury. This could mean it's more expensive than what homeowners want.

It is designed to look like a modern floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish that's enhanced by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper, which protects furniture and the vacuum from damage when moving around the home. This creates a detailed floor plan that enables the robot vacuum and mop effectively without getting stuck in areas with clutter. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and identify them and avoid them, which is a great feature for households with pets or young children.

The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4% debris from our test on hard floors and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stains. Its mops also do a great job and remove 98.4 percent of debris from our tile, carpet, and wood tests. It was not as effective in removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
