If you're looking to save money and don't require a stroller that can double up as car seat carriers the Babyzen Yoyo is a good choice. It has a simple one-step foot brake that's flip-flop comfortable.

It's easy to push, and it feels solid when you are traversing kerbs and woodland trails. It's also a breeze to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned its reputation as the most stroller that is lightweight, suitable for city dwellers as well as jet-setters. It was awarded an impressive score in our Strollers and Multiples test for weight and size folded which means it's light, compact when folded and easy to lift into a car trunk or closet. It also comes with a multi-position reclining seat and a cup holder for the parent. Other important features include 360-degree shock absorbing front wheels as well as two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling.

It did better in our push and turn test than a lot of the strollers we tested but is nonetheless difficult to maneuver on uneven ground or through narrow doors. The sunshades it has are among the ones we tested the smallest, providing only direct overhead coverage, and no windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a much larger canopy.

It took us less than 3 minutes to assemble the Delta using a standard manual. The parts are all non-required and required tools. It is missing certain features we believe are essential in a double stroller. They include a large basket, reclining seats, and adjustable leg rests.

The front wheels can to be locked in a forward position, or they can pivot. This is helpful when navigating rough terrain. While walking along the stony path we allowed them to swivel and it handled this fairly well although it did seem slightly bumpier than other models that we tested.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is best single stroller 2024 known for its three-wheeled, all-terrain, strollers for jogging. However, they also manufacture a vast selection of pushchairs with four wheels. The City Tour 2 is one of their most sought-after models. It is simple to fold and fits easily into the trunk of a car even with a carrycot attached.

It's a bit heavier than the other strollers we test, but the wheels are a rubber composite, which makes it feel well-built and sturdy. It's a breeze to maneuver across all types of terrain. It's easy to carry, even when loaded with two children and shopping bags.

The seat and carrycot both have hoods that can be pulled down to reveal sun canopy extensions that are UV50+. They are sturdy and waterproof, unlike other hoods for prams that can be blown back into toddlers faces.

It doesn't have a lot of storage space, but it comes with a large basket deep enough to hold a changing bag or plenty of groceries. It can also be used with the Baby Jogger car seat for babies up 20 lbs (car seat and adapters are available separately). The City Tour 2 is a ideal choice for those looking to use a stroller on the go.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

Nuna Mixx was an infant stroller that captivated the hearts of a large number of parents when it first appeared. It is an aluminium-framed stroller which can be used from infant's earliest days through. It has a number of notable features, including the ability to flip the seat between parent and world-facing, a huge UPF 50+ canopy with an eye shade that flips out, a spacious basket and adjustable handlebar.

The chassis has a built-in suspension system that helps reduce the impact of bumpy terrain. The wheels are made of tough foam and reduce punctures. Our test driver found it easy to push and was able to manoeuvre it through tight streets with ease.

It folds down in four easy steps and automatically locks without fuss. It can also be folded and repositioned for easy transportation down the stairs or in the trunk of the car. The travel system comes included with the option to add an additional car seat or carrycot using the adaptors included. The brakes are easy to use, using a single standing stroller, colour coded and flip-flop friendly.

7. Babyzen Duet

This budget single sit and stand stroller pushchair is surprisingly easy to maneuver and comes with an excellent dual suspension system, one-hand fold and a practical carry strap. It is also lightweight and durable. The seat can be reclined in many positions and comes with a built-in double breathable mattress that is suitable from birth.

The canopy/seat has two large fixed or flip-out sun visors and both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn't the best because it's not as quiet as Velcro and could wake up napping babies.

The Duet is a side-byside stroller and can be set up to take twins or siblings (up to 22kg max per seat). It can be used with two infant car seats and some carrycots. In twin mode seats, the seats can be placed so that they face each the other. They can also be oriented to face the parents. This should reduce sibling disputes about who sits with mom and dad. It comes with a large tray for gears, a bottle holder and snack tray. It also comes with a folding stand that folds down and a frame lock.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2

The Urban Glide 2 doesn't come with adapters to fit most infant car seats and bassinets, but you can use them from the very first day with adapters that will fit brands like BOB, Graco Combi Evenflo Britax UPPAbaby. It folds down compactly and takes 5-10 minutes to put together with no tools. The instruction manual is easy to comprehend and contains multiple languages.
