Best Lightweight Single Stroller

Travel strollers don't get much smaller or lighter than this. Its sleek design allows it to fold into an elegant rectangle shape, and the wheels are easier to turn than other styles.

It also has a large under-seat storage area and an arm-strap that makes it easy to carry around when you're not pushing it. But the canopy adjustment can make lots of noise which might disturb a sleeping toddler.

1. Contours Itsy

The Contours Itsy is a compact stroller with a lot of features for its size. Its back under-seat basket is spring loaded, so you can pull it down to stuff a diaper bag or backpack in and it will pop up to secure the contents. It also comes with a child accessory tray and adjustable reclining seat back pad that offer more options than what you usually get on a stroller that is light.

Additionally, it has an impressive canopy that is able to open and close to give you the sun protection you require, and the handlebar can be adjusted in height in four positions to ensure a good fit. We weren't so impressed with its ride quality over rough terrain. We were of the opinion that the wheels and suspension did not do a great job of absorbing shocks and bumps.

The stroller is perfect for travel since it comes assembled in the box. It requires only just a few steps to get it ready for use. The seat can be moved forward and backwards to alter the recline, which is pretty much flat. Two buttons on the frame allow it to fold and unfold. It also fits into an extremely convenient bag for carrying when not in use. This stroller is an excellent option for those looking for a lightweight travel stroller. It has all the features parents desire in a stroller, such as all-terrain wheels and front suspension to ensure an easy ride. It is also extremely lightweight, weighing less than 12 pounds. It can be folded in one hand and stand up on its own. It also has an adult tray and a child tray, each with two cup holders.

Its build quality isn't very good, and it didn't perform well in our maneuverability test. It also has a swivel frame that makes pushing it over rough terrain feel like lifting a large weight. This is fine when you use the stroller on smooth paths, but for the majority of people, it's going to not be comfortable.

The Cloud Plus features a three-tiered extended canopy with an open window that provides additional sun protection. The seat is multi-position and can hold children up to 50 pounds and uses a five-point safety restraint. This is a great choice for older toddlers that have outgrown their infant car seats.

It is compact and folds down in one step. It is able to be collapsed by pressing an appropriate button. It also comes with a convenient, foot-activated break that is simple to set up and release.

However the handle is a bit lower than many of the other strollers we've tested, and some parents may be uncomfortable for extended durations. It does come with an adjustable handle lock that keeps it in place when opened, though. This is a good feature to have if you are going to be using the stroller on uneven or muddy terrain.

The Munchkin Sparrow stroller is the ideal stroller for parents who are always on the move. This ultra-compact stroller is easy to fold up and down and can easily fit in overhead compartments on planes as well as in trunks at the amusement park (no more worrying about parking fees). It is also equipped with a simple-zip bag for storage that is easy to carry. It can be used with the infant car adapter from birth and provides good sun protection thanks to its canopy. The only downside for certain parents is that they feel the design uninspiring and utilitarian.

The BabyZen Yoyo+ is a bit more expensive than the other single seat stroller strollers that are lightweight however it was made specifically for luxe urban living and travel. It's one of the smallest strollers to fold (and comes with a handy carry case) It also offers plenty of storage, including the cup holder. The seat is comfortable for both the child and the adult, and reclines to a near-flat position. This is the only stroller that can be used with a newborn with the car seat adapter. The handlebar is not adjustable and could pose an issue for parents who are small.

The UPPAbaby Minu V2 may not be the most lightweight stroller, but it is packed with amazing features that help children travel more easily. The large seat reclines to a flat position, and it comes with additional padding to make those airplane naps more comfortable. The extendable canopy has plenty of sun-shade, and the parent tray provides plenty of storage. It also features an adjustable footrest that can double as a handle when it's folded. This footrest is vulnerable to being damaged by baggage handlers.

4. Uppababy Minu V2

Uppababy Minu V2 is an elegant stroller with high-end design and quality. Its compact design makes it easy to navigate through narrow streets and tight spaces, but its sturdy structure allows it to withstand rough terrain without compromising the comfort of your child. The spring-action suspension on the front and rear creates more comfort for your child, and its durable materials ensure it can stand up to the wear and tear of everyday use. It can also be extended to accommodate other accessories like baby car seat.

In our tests, the Minu was a breeze to fold and maneuver even with a child in the hand. Its squat almost square fold which unfolds into thirds, is one of the most straightforward in our tests and allows it to easily fit into overhead compartments on planes or in public transportation. It also comes with an automated brake with a color coded single-action that is easy to use.

The seat comes with a multi-position recline and one-handed adjustable leg rest, which makes it easy to find the ideal position for your child. The UPF 50+ hood went down quite a ways and was perfect for protecting Cora's eyes from sun (though not quite as low as some other strollers). The medium-sized mesh peekaboo window is magnetically attached to the canopy and closes without the need for noisy Velcro.

The Minu weighs just under 15 pounds, and comes with an integrated handle that makes it easy for carrying. It also comes with a shoulder strap. It can also be stored in the trunk of your vehicle. It comes with a storage bag as well as access to the TravelSafe program offered by Uppababy which provides two years of manufacturer's warranty. It also covers repairs for damaged items during air travel.

5. Joovy Aire

Joovy is the well-known brand of strollers offers a variety of models. This light-weight model is a good choice for parents looking for a workhorse stroller that carts children around, provides ample storage space, is relatively easy to maneuver and doesn't require an engineering degree to fold. It's not ideal for those who want an automobile seat-compatible model or a double stroller, however. It isn't compatible with infant car seats. Your children should be able to sit upright on their backs before you can use it.

This stroller has some solid features and an impressive price. It scored higher on our maneuverability test than other strollers with similar specs. It's also a great choice for smooth surfaces. It also comes with a great canopy and plenty of storage including a spacious parent tray. The handlebar is shorter than the average, and the front wheel suspension is more rigid however it's comfortable for adults.

If you have twins, or two kids of different ages, you might consider a side-by-side stroller to be the best single stroller 2024 choice for them to travel in. Our favorite is the Joovy Twin Groove. It has a lot of features and has a tiny footprint, so it can fit in places that other side-by-side strollers aren't.

It features reclining seats that are individually adjustable, a large canopy with an opening window that can be seen from afar and lots of storage. It's a bit heavier than other side-by-sides, but it has a decent weight capacity and can be used by children up to 50 pounds. It's possible to add a bassinet to front of the stroller to accommodate newborns.

If you are looking for a more luxurious version of this stroller the Caboose Sit and Stand Stroller is an excellent alternative. It has the same great features and can be fitted out with a bassinet, so you can take your baby home with style from the hospital.
