A Midi-sized bed with storage (also called cabin beds) offers the best of both worlds, providing kids a comfy sleeping area and plenty of space underneath to play and keep toys. Size

Midi beds with storage are generally lower than high-sleepers and come with a ladder or staircase that is shorter which makes them suitable for smaller rooms. They can take a single UK mattress and include a range of useful pieces underneath. From a cleverly designed desk that slides into a cabinet to store totes, to elegant drawers that move with a smooth no-wobble movement.

Many of our Midi cabin beds are available in a variety of finishes, so you can choose the one that will suit your child's room best. Some go more than that and come with the option of custom storage units. The desk can be moved between two units on wheels. There are four drawers for storage and two cabinets that have doors. The Eli F takes things to the next level with doors that are matched to your head and foot boards.

The Luna low-line loft bed or the midi-storage bed is small and includes everything you require. A ladder that can be turned as well as a desk on wheels that slides in and out, and three drawer cabinets and a chest are all included. You can also get it in reverse like the ladder on the left. Style

Most Midi loft beds require the standard UK Single mattress (3ft/90x190cm), with a wooden base. The price of the bed does not include the mattress. We suggest checking our mattress deals to find one that fits your budget.

Stores

A midi-cabin bed that has storage is a great solution for a child's room that requires extra space. They are usually fitted with clever storage options like cabinets, drawers and desks for storing books or toys, among other things. It has a low level staircase that has the option of it to be turned around, a desk that can slide in and out on wheels, two drawers, and a cabinet with a door all included. The bed can also be built in a reverse configuration if requested, please ask in the store, by phone, or in the comments section at checkout.

Mattress

Most midi beds can accommodate standard UK single mid sleeper cabin bed mattresses, and the top bunk comes with a safety rail that gives you extra peace of mind. Some models come with the option of a pull-out trundle drawer which can be used to host sleepovers, or to add additional storage space underneath the bed. These can be either open or fitted with doors (please check the product's details for more details).

Many midi cabins include desks that can be moved from one level to the other, or chests. This gives children a customized space for all their belongings and means that there's no need to take precious floor space with large wardrobes or shelving units.

Some models have gone a step beyond with cabinets that are flush mounted, or even a part of the headboard or footboard. This is ideal for storage of books and toys.
