The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you are looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that is priced in the middle. It offers a great mopping experience but lacks the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

During tests it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium pile. It doesn't use LIDAR, however, as other models do, to identify your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It offers impressive cleaning power and a variety of features that include the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. This robot can recognize your habits of cleaning, and recommend automatic schedules that will give you an effortless cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once the system is setup, you can start cleaning automatically with just one button click. You can choose an overall clean that focuses on the removal of larger particles like cereal and rice. You can also opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your home is completely cleaned.

This robot vacuum performs well on floors that are unfinished and low-pile carpet. It is able to pick up pet hair and sucks big objects up. It doesn't lose suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It's a challenge with carpets that are high-pile or plush however iRobot says that future models will be more efficient.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that concentrates on improving corner and edge cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that has flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes that this will allow it hug the furniture and walls. It's a great improvement over the standard hockey puck shape of robovacs, but we found it to be only incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with a superior filtration system that blocks micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating within your home. It's a nice premise, however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the price price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of a combination of sensors to remember your home's layout and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. It then cleans your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundary markers to ensure that the robot is aware of what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine mopping and vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q revo stands out. Its vac settings are just as effective as those of higher-end models and its mopping system is even better. Its spinning pads do a much better job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

It's only downside is the absence of a second brush to allow for deeper cleaning. However, it's not a big deal if you want to own one of the top robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank also bigger than those on many of its competitors, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it, even with the maximum dirt level.

In terms of the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. The two mopping modes that it has that are less aggressive than the more powerful ones, create minimal noise, allowing you to work or watch television without interruption. If it comes across the wall or a furniture piece it gently smacks into it before moving along.

What really makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly completely autonomously, requiring only a little for human intervention. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical trash to the bin hidden in the background and cleans and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app will only alert you if something is wrong, such as a low clean water tank or a canceled vacuuming session due to the bin being full.

You can also combine or create actual rooms in order to customize the way that Q Revo treats your home. This feature is useful when you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or when you have to frequently get rid of clutter like toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum was also one of the top performers in my tests, picking up debris on carpets and hardwood floors with the first go. It can also clean up spills that are wet, though I recommend wiping them dry using a clean cloth before bringing the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a top-quality robot cleaner with mop vacuum and mop combo and more. It has a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with a self-cleaning station that automatically washes and cleans the mop pads to keep them fresh and ready for reuse. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture and other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model has a sleeker, more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best hybrid vacuum mop robot known for Bang & Olufsen products). While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet in height and depth and weighs almost four pounds--the entire robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This version is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it has a faster charging speed for batteries and can complete a cleaning of around 1,500 square feet with just one charge. It also has a bigger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris, making it easier to empty it when needed.

Lastly lastly, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app and a voice assistant that works offline, allowing you to use it even if you're not at home. It also has more mopping modes and a smart routing feature which allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your house instead of just following a set path.

The X2 Omni is the best cheap robot vacuum and mop robot for mopping. Its mop pads rotating remove tough stains and its motor produces lots of downward pressure. The vacuuming capabilities are also excellent, and it increases suction when it senses carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It also has a large battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as effective as the ones we've seen on an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality robot vacuum and mop that comes with a variety of convenience features that you do not often find on robots at this price. It is able to create detailed floor maps and detect different types of flooring. It's also among the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are great however they can push the L10s into the luxury category. This might make it more expensive than homeowners need.

Created to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish that's highlighted by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper, which protects the vacuum and furniture from damage when moving through the house. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane which help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button which is used as an on/off switch. Clicking this will turn on the vacuum, and pressing it again will shut off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The central control panel includes an oblique menu that lets you select cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons below the screen will bring up the app's settings menu where you can modify how the L10s Ultra integrates with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to map out your house. This creates a detailed floor plan that helps the robot vacuum and mop effectively and avoid getting stuck in areas with clutter. The LIDAR also assists the robot vacuum to recognize and avoid obstacles which is a great feature for families with children or pets.

The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner, which removes 98.4% debris from our test on hard floors, and removing all but stubborn juice staining. Its mops are also quite efficient, removing 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our tile, wood, and carpet tests. However, it wasn't as efficient in dealing with sand on the hard floor and Quaker oats on carpet.
